ReTrim now integrated into MES CAT from T.CON

T.CON GmbH & Co. KG and Greycon Ltd. continued their long-standing collaboration with the integration of Greycon’s trim optimization system ReTrim into T.CON’s Manufacturing Execution System MES CAT. MES CAT collects data during the production process that give a deep insight into the production and the quality of the product in real-time. Defects and quality variations are detected instantly. ReTrim uses the information to work out how to combine orders on a winder so as to achieve certain objectives such as waste minimization and the high quality of the ordered products. This process is also known as HotTrim or QualityTrim. The two companies have a long lasting experience in the paper industry. T.CON is engaged in the paper branch since over 10 years and proofed its competence with many successful implementations of MES CAT and the ERP system.
