SAP Developer T.CON at IT & Business 2012

Plattling-based SAP developer T.CON GmbH & Co. KG will be present at this year’s IT & Business in Stuttgart (October 23 – 25, 2012), guided by the slogan “Keep Up with Your Production Operations – Anytime, Anywhere.” The company will be focusing on the subjects of full ERP implementation, enterprise mobility, and SAP Rapid Deployment Solutions (SAP RDS) for the manufacturing industry.

Visitors who come to Hall 3, Booth F14 will be able to learn more about how SAP ERP and SAP Business-All-in-One solutions that are perfect for medium-sized businesses can help their companies fully map their value chains in an integrated manner and improve the efficiency and transparency of their processes – all the way from the receipt of orders to their shop floor.
To this end, the IT consulting specialist will be showcasing its pre-configured, industry-specific “T.CON All-in-One Rolls” software package, which is designed to be quickly implemented and is custom-tailored to meet the needs of companies that make and process reels, rolls, folio-size goods, and cut-size goods from a variety of materials. The application combines the advantages of SAP ERP with those of T.CON’s MES CAT Suite manufacturing execution solution, which is completely based on SAP technology.

This makes it possible to seamlessly integrate real-time data and KPIs from production into operational information flows, enabling management to better steer their company’s business thanks to the ability to quickly and flexibility adapt production processes to market changes. Moreover, the aforementioned KPIs provide important reference points for effectively improving product quality and increasing machine efficiency. This should come as no surprise, as the best-practice template is the result of T.CON’s extensive know-how and familiarity with the industry (a result of the company’s years of providing the sector with consulting services) and expands SAP’s standard functionalities with new ones that are invaluable for businesses in the field. These include, for instance, package tracking, production and block planning, cutting plans, cut optimization, and formulation management.
