Two IT Innovation Awards for T.CON

Since 2004 the German “Initiative Mittelstand“ (Medium-Sized Business Initiative) has been awarding outstanding IT solutions with a high level of customer benefit. An independent jury of experts, consisting of top-level professors, IT experts, scientists and journalists, consider all proposals submitted. The main focus is on innovative values, benefits and the suitability for medium-sized companies. This year, two T.CON solutions won the prize in two categories: Our HR Portal was awarded in the category “Human Resources”; “Mobile Maintenance for Google Glass” was the most convincing solution in “Industry and Logistics”.

In the category “Industry and Logistics“, the T.CON solution “Mobile Maintenance for Google Glass“ was declared the winner. This application is a simplified method of T.CON’s mobile maintenance especially developed for data glasses like Google Glasses. All maintenance orders can be handled and completed, any faults can be reported including photos which can be taken immediately with the camera of the glasses, videos can be recorded and played for documentation of process steps. These features make daily work easy for maintenance staff because they have all hands free – they do not need to carry additional equipment with them.
